The Story
Omega RUNNER merges Web3 technology with Hollywood storytelling, creating an interactive universe where speed is the ultimate currency of power.
In this world, elite runners from different nations compete in a grueling 21-day race, navigating treacherous landscapes and deadly obstacles. The victor earns the right to rule the planet.

The Opportunity
Developed in collaboration with Clubhouse Pictures (The Hunger Games), written by Blaise Hemingway, and directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, Omega RUNNER broke new ground in open-source world-building.
Early adopters had the unique opportunity to join The Writers Room with Blaise, contributing to stories that became part of the Omega universe.
This approach garnered a highly engaged community, leading to the release of a two-part webcomic, a sold-out first edition print run, and a 3,333-piece PFP collection that minted out in under 10 minutes.

The Build
The planet of Omega is home to four distinct nations, each with its own unique environment, ranging from arid deserts to snowy mountain peaks. Working closely with the brand agency Nicework, we explored the aesthetics of each region, considering their architecture, the vehicles their RUNNERs drive, and the cultural identity of their people.
The result was a rich visual language, where each nation was defined by a distinct color palette, tribal-inspired patterns, and symbolic iconography. These elements were woven into the website, NFTs, and broader brand identity to create a cohesive world.

The Website
Collaborating with the design agency STRV, we carefully designed the website to immerse users in the world of Omega, putting them in the driver’s seat of a RUNNER vehicle.
As users scroll, they progress through the story - first encountering a high-level introduction to the Omega universe, then exploring key elements like the comic NFT, the upcoming character collection, and the different nations. Each nation also has its own dedicated section, allowing users to dive deeper into its lore.
The experience culminated in a powerful call to action, inviting users to join the RUNNER community and mint the 1st Edition Comic NFT.
The 1st Edition Comic
Our strategy was to release the comic as both a physical edition and an NFT, creating a bridge between traditional and digital collectibles.
Holding the comic NFT also served as a whitelist for the upcoming character collection, driving demand and cultivating community around the project.

The Character Collection
Following the success of the 1st Edition Comic NFT, the RUNNER Character Collection was the next major milestone in expanding the Omega universe.
This collection introduced a diverse set of fully realized characters, each with their own backgrounds, allegiances, and visual identities - bringing the world of Omega to life in a whole new way.

Conclusion
Omega RUNNER redefined storytelling by blending Web3 innovation with Hollywood world-building.
From the 1st Edition Comic NFT to the Character Collection, every element was designed with deep lore for interactive storytelling.
By combining cinematic depth, beautiful design, and gamified experiences, Omega RUNNER became a living universe shaped by its community.
